Course and teaching content at the GIH

In addition to teaching content for the Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes in Geodesy and Geoinformatics, the Geodetic Institute also offers courses for the Master's degree programmes in Mechatronics and Robotics and in Civil Engineering. Further information can be found below under the respective degree programmes.

The major geodetic field trip is part of the Master's programme in Geodesy and Geoinformatics and takes place in the 3rd Master's semester. This event is organised by one of the four institutes in the department in turn.

As part of the Geodesy and Geoinformatics degree programme (B.Sc. and M.Sc.), various projects are to be taken to deepen the practical knowledge of the course content. In the 4th bachelor's semester, this is the practical project in engineering geodesy, in the 5th bachelor's semester the bachelor's project, and in the 2nd and 3rd master's semester the project seminar. For the Mechatronics and Robotics (M.Sc.) degree programme, we offer independent assignments (ST) by arrangement.
