The degree programme in Geodesy and Geoinformatics is supported by four institutes of Leibniz Universität that are assigned to the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geodetic Science:
Geodetic Institute | Institute of Photogrammetry and GeoInformation | Institute of Geodesy | Institute of Cartography and Geoinformatics
The four institutes are responsible for teaching the essential course content in the bachelor's and master's degree programmes in Geodesy and Geoinformatics. We have linked the respective profiles for you, with a short description and the course content for the bachelor's degree programme and the master's degree programme, with the two tracks of Geomatics and Navigation and Field Robotics.
In addition, the institutes also offer course and teaching content for degree programmes in other fields. Under the heading Courses, you will find all courses offered by the Geodetic Institute, categorised by degree programme.
As part of the Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes in Geodesy and Geoinformatics, various projects are offered to provide practical in-depth study of the course content. In the 4th semester of the bachelor's programme, this is the practical project in engineering geodesy, in the 5th semester of the bachelor's programme, it is the bachelor's project, and in the 2nd and 3rd semester of the master's programme, it is the project seminar. Further information can also be found under the heading Courses.
Under the heading Theses you will find an overview of open, ongoing and already completed bachelor's and master's theses. Are you looking for a suitable thesis? Perhaps you will find it here, otherwise just contact us directly. In addition, we supervise suitable Independent Assignments in other subject areas on request.
Our degree programme advisors will be happy to answer any questions you may have about the Geodesy and Geoinformatics degree programme. You can find the contact details of the advisors and further information under the heading Support & Advice.
