As part of the 10-day practical project, students apply the individual methods of engineering geodesy in practice. The practical project takes place in the 4th bachelor's semester in alternating measuring areas (e.g. Gronau/Alfeld, Bad Salzdethfurth). At the end of the project, students should not only be able to master and practically implement the measurement and evaluation processes covered in the courses, but also understand their context in the course of an engineering project.
The following methods are implemented in practice and prepared or evaluated by calculation:
- Observation and evaluation of a superordinate point field (GNSS)
- Tachymetric network measurement and precision levelling
- Setting up and determining a stakeout network
- Route mapping and stakeout
- Topographic survey
- Earthwork calculation with Leica MS50
- RTK-GPS
- Automatic data flow
