Spectacular load test on the Aller Bridge in Verden

As part of an interdisciplinary load test, the load-bearing capacity of the old Aller Bridge in Verden was analysed. For this purpose, the arched bridge was gradually loaded with up to 600 tonnes. The video shows a flight around the arched bridge with a visualisation of the point cloud differences from terrestrial laser scans during the minimum and maximum load stages.
